A compact 700 sqft house on a tight Chengalpattu plot, drawn around a single sweeping concrete arc that crests from roof to ground and frames a brick-and-timber entry.
Crest House makes a large gesture on a small plot: a single board-formed concrete sweep crests from the roof to the ground, curving past the entry to carry the upper terrace and shade the rooms below. The arc is set by the proportion of the court and the path of the western light, reading as one continuous surface against the white volume behind it.
Beneath the concrete the palette stays plain and tactile — a brick infill wall warms the entry, a slatted teak gate screens the forecourt, and recessed cove light traces the curve at dusk. Material is chosen to serve that geometry rather than set it, grounding the sweep where it meets the garden.
